Timothy Bateson alias Kreacher
In „Harry Potter und der Orden des Phönix“ hatte Timothy Bateson seinen ersten Auftritt in der Rolle des Hauselfen Kreacher. Im Haushalt der Familie Black scheint er mit seinem Schicksal wohl nicht ganz glücklich zu sein, weshalb er meist schlechtgelaunt und bisweilen hinterhältig ist. Im englischen Original wird die Rolle des Kreacher anfangs von Timothy Bateson gesprochen.
Nach dessen Tod 2009 übernahm Simon McBurney die Sprechrolle des miesepetrigen Hauselfen. Interessanterweise wurde auch in der deutschen Fassung nach Batesons Tod die Synchronstimme gewechselt. Statt Osman Ragheb hören wir in „Heiligtümer des Todes I.“ den Synchronsprecher Erich Ludwig als Kreacher.
