Richard Griffiths alias Vernon Dursley
Zugegeben, es gibt Rollen, mit denen man sich beim Publikum nicht gerade beliebt macht. So zum Beispiel auch als der cholerische Onkel Vernon Dursley, der für seinen Neffen Harry Potter nicht mehr übrighat als eine Besenkammer unter der Treppe. Doch für einen Profi wie Richard Griffiths war das kein Hindernis und der hochkarätige Schauspieler verkörperte die Rolle einfach perfekt und wir hätten uns keine bessere Besetzung für den Fiesling vorstellen können.
2007 wurde Griffiths sogar von der Queen zum Officer des Order of the British Empire ernannt. Leider verstarb der Schauspieler 2013 im Alter von nur 65 Jahren, nachdem es bei einer Herz-Operation zu Komplikationen gekommen war.
