MARK TUITERT & HELEN VAN GOOZEN – 13 JAAR GETROUWD
Mark Tuitert kan trots zijn op zijn verwezenlijkingen als langebaanschaatser. Hij haalde twee maal het wereldkampioenschap in huis, mocht ook de Europese titel op zijn naam schrijven en deed dat Olympiër ook nog eens. En dan hebben we zijn bronzen en zilveren plakken nog niet genoemd. Net voor de eeuwwisseling leerde hij zijn huidige vrouw Helen van Goozen kennen tijdens de voorbereiding van zijn wedstrijden en toen hij in 2014 besloot om te stoppen met zijn sport, stond zij ook trouw aan zijn zijde. In 2009 was ze officieel zijn vrouw geworden en ze kregen samen twee kinderen. Sinds 2017 is Mark met een eigen zaak gestart en heeft hij heel wat meer tijd voor zijn gezin.
