DIRK KUIJT & KATE RUINEMANS – 2 JAAR SAMEN
Ooit was Dirk Kuijt niet alleen bekend als topspeler bij Oranje en clubs als Feyenoord en Liverpool, maar hij stond ook te boek als een echt familieman. 22 jaar was hij samen met zijn jeugdvriendin en 17 jaar was hij gehuwden alles leek helemaal op een sprookje in wording. Tot plots bleek dat Kuijt er een jongere vriendin op na hield. De toen 29-jarige Kate Ruinemans had zijn veertigjarige hart gestolen toen ze bij zijn liefdadigheidsorganisatie aan het werk was. Dirk en zijn vrouw Gertrude gingen scheiden. Dat kostte hem een aardige duit, maar ondertussen heeft zich een nieuw imago aangemeten en vond hij de levensvreugde terug met Kate.
