Niemand zal ontkennen dat in Max Verstappen een groot talent als racepiloot in de Formule 1 schuil gaat. Vanaf het moment dat hij met karts ging racen, tot op de dag van vandaag, heeft hij hard gewerkt om te komen waar hij nu staat. En bij het racen kom je over zowat heel de wereld. Het mag dan ook niet verwonderen dat Verstappen een Braziliaanse vriendin leerde kennen tijdens zijn vele reizen. Kelly Piquet ontmoette hij in het racewereldje, want haar vader is niemand minder dan Nelson Piquet. Blijkbaar brengt ze heel wat geluk, want voor de tweede keer op rij kan Max, sinds zijn relatie met Kelly de wereldbeker de lucht in steken.
