ROBIN VAN PERSIE & BOUCHRA ELBALI – 18 JAAR GETROUWD
Robin van Persie leerde zijn vrouw kennen in hun tienerjaren. Ze werden op slag verliefd toen ze elkaar voor het eerst ontmoetten in Rotterdam. Zo beleefde ze zijn debuut bij Feyenoord en is ze met hem meegegaan toen hij over de plas aan de slag ging in Engeland. Pas in 2004 beslisten ze als twintigers om te huwen n en werden ze meteen een geliefd onderwerp voor de Britse tabloids. Hun relatie heeft echter heel goed de tand des tijds doorstaan en is met hun twee kinderen Shaqueel en Dina sterker dan ooit. Nu Robin zelfs geen profspeler meer is, steunen ze hun zoon in zijn carrière en left Bouchra zich meer toe op haar liefde voor paarden.
