Whether this picture is real or not is up for debate, but it’s no doubt that this picture must have left a good few people feeling a little squeamish. This was posted on Reddit with the poster claiming that this was his pet snail Hogarth. But there is a chance that this is some photoshop magic.
It’s not impossible that this snail exists though. In Australia, there is a snail breed called the giant whelk. They are said to grow up to 27.5 inches and love a diet of greens and plants. Can you imagine the size of the snail trail this guy would leave behind?
