Known informally as the bubble algae, sea grape, or sailor’s eye, these can be found all over the world in tropical and subtropical climates. They are commonly found in Florida, The Caribbean, and even Brazil. They can grow up to 2 inches in diameter and have been extensively studied to gain more insight into organisms of their kind.
