We’ve previously mentioned the film, Beethoven. This is about a unit of a Saint Bernard who gets adopted by a family and proceeds to make their lives hell, before saving the day and being accepted into the family. This isn’t a Saint Bernard, but a mastiff that falls into the unit category, although he probably didn’t cause his family any problems.
These breeds are known to weigh in at up to 250 pounds and are also known for having loud barks too. One thing they are not is vicious, and they are renowned for their passive temperament and are renowned for their gentle nature.
