Carolina conoció al cirujano en una consulta en el año 2003 y la química fue inmediata. Trece años más tarde el cirujano y la celebridad dieron el sí en la playa de Viña del Mar junto a sus familiares y amigos. Ellos están más enamorados que nunca y han logrado construir una maravillosa familia junto a su hija y la hija que Roy tiene de una relación anterior.
