Su espíritu aventurero la llevó a vivir a Nueva York, ciudad que ya conocía por el trabajo de su madre en el rubro de la moda y allí fue representada por la agencia de modelos Élite. Fue la musa de Óscar de la Renta y Valentino. Representó a joyerías de primer nivel como Cartier y Bulgari. Con su aspecto español, era una modelo exótica que resaltaba del resto. Actuó en la película Bananas de Woody Allen y posó para Playboy. ¡Nati llevó una vida emocionante!
