Estuvo casado en más de una oportunidad y vive actualmente en pareja con Rosalind Ross desde el año 2014. De sus matrimonios y parejas anteriores tiene en total 9 hijos. Actuó en la saga de Mad Max y Lethal y en We were soldiers. Dio su voz para la película Pocahontas. Está construyendo su propia iglesia en Los Ángeles, separada del Vaticano y del resto del cristianismo.
