Sandra es una periodista, escritora y presentadora de televisión que ha sido nombrada como una de las mujeres más influyentes de España en el año 2020 por la revista Forbes. El mismo año ganó el Premio Planeta por su libro Un océano para llegar a tí. Es una novela en la que trata el tema de la pérdida, tema común a todos los seres humanos. Estuvo en pareja con Nagore Robles hasta octubre de 2022 cuando las dos subieron a Instagram en el mismo momento la noticia que se distanciaban como pareja pero que seguían manteniendo un gran respeto y admiración mutua. Ya tiene planes laborales para el 2023.
