Casado com a ex-atriz e psicóloga Lídia Brondi, o ator Cássio Gabus Mendes, filho de autor de novelas e um dos primeiros diretores artísticos de TV Cassiano Gabus Mendes, tem uma trajetória brilhante na teledramaturgia nacional. Sua carreira inclui novelas e minisséries de sucesso como “Brega & Chique”, “Vale Tudo”, “Elas por Elas”, “Ti Ti Ti”, e filmes icônicos como “Orfeu”, “Banho de Sangue” e “Bruna Surfistinha”. Lídia e Cássio, que estão juntos desde 1991, resolveram assinar os papéis e oficializar a união em 2013. O casal não aparece com frequência na mídia e optaram por levar uma vida muito reservada.
