Caterina Balivo è una conduttrice televisiva nota per il suo garbo e la sua gentilezza, ha avuto due figli dal marito Guido Maria Brera: Guido Alberto e Cora. Entrambi ancora minorenni, il maggiore ha problemi di salute: fin da piccolissimo infatti soffre di tosse cronica da inquinamento, per cui la conduttrice ha dovuto prendersi pause dal lavoro per poterlo accudire e portarlo in luoghi meno inquinati e più vivibili. Anche oggi, nei periodi di vacanza o anche durante i week end, la Balivo trascorre coi figli diversi giorni in posti di mare. La piccola invece sta bene e frequenta la scuola con profitto.
