L’actrice Melissa Sue Anderson est surtout connue pour avoir incarné Mary Ingles dans la série « La petite maison dans la prairie » entre 1974 et 1981. Par la suite, sa carrière va bien au-delà de cette série. Elle a par exemple remporté un Emmy Award pour sa participation dans « ABC Afterschool Specials ».
Sa dernière apparition à l’écran remonte à 2018 quand elle a joué dans le film « The con is on ». Le public a pu voir à cette occasion qu’elle n’a rien perdu de sa beauté qui a fait chavirer le cœur des adolescents américains dans les années 70.
