En parallèle, il participe à Téléfoot avec Grégoire Margotton. Quand il ne travaille pas, Bixente Lizarazu aime s’évader en Côte Basque. Il y possède une magnifique maison équipée d’un beau jardin. Bixente Lizarazu a confié que la Côte Basque est son refuge, son havre de paix.
