Bernadette Chirac – 88 ans, Première dame du Président Jacques Chirac
Bernadette Chodron épouse Jacques Chirac en 1956. Ce dernier est élu en 1995 Président de la République Française, alors que Bernadette exerce comme conseillère générale de la Corrèze, ce qui représente une première dans l’histoire de la République. Bernadette Chirac a un caractère affirmé, elle n’hésite pas à donner son opinion et son influence n’est pas anodine.
En parallèle, depuis 1994 jusqu’en 2019, Bernadette Chirac s’engage caritativement auprès de diverses associations, dont la plupart étaient des aides aux enfants et aux jeunes malades. Au début du mois de mars 2022, sa fille Claude Chirac a confié l’état de santé de sa maman dans les colonnes de “La Montagne”. Elle a affirmé que : “Les choses sont paisibles, elle va le mieux possible”.
