Donatella Versace a toujours été d’un grand soutien pour son frère Gianni dans le développement de ses activités de styliste. Elle a été la muse de Gianni pour plusieurs projets, ce qui inclut un parfum qu’il a spécialement fait fabriquer pour sa sœur sous le nom de « Donatella ».
Donatella a repris la maison Versace après la perte de son frère et a propulsé la marque au sommet en habillant des célébrités comme Jennifer Lopez et Christina Aguilera. Elle a vendu l’entreprise à Michael Kors en 2018, mais continue à y travailler en tant que directrice du département créatif.
