JACQUES CHARRIER – 85 ANS, BABETTE S’EN VA-T-EN GUERRE
Jacques Charrier a montré un grand intérêt pour les beaux-arts, et surtout à l’activité de céramiste, au début de sa carrière. Il a d’ailleurs poursuivi une formation à cette fin à Strasbourg à partir de 1953 avant de se convertir vers le métier d’acteur en 1956, l’année où il a décroché son premier rôle au cinéma.
Jacques Charrier a été très prolifique dans les années 50 à 70. Il a notamment joué avec Jean-Paul Belmondo dans « Les Tricheurs » en 1958 et Brigitte Bardot dans « Babette s’en va-t en guerre » en 1959. À partir de 1980, il a arrêté le cinéma pour vivre sa passion. Il fait désormais de la peinture et expose souvent ses œuvres dans des galeries privées.
