Christophe Le Friant a nourri un grand intérêt pour le foot avant de faire de la disc jockey. Il s’est produit à ses débuts sous des noms comme « The Mighty Bop », « Chris the French Kiss » et « Reminiscence Quartet » avant d’adopter finalement le nom de « Bob Sinclar » en 1986.
Bob Sinclar signe les premières productions de sa carrière à travers son propre label de musique qu’il a créé avec DJ Yellow dans les années 80. Il demeure aujourd’hui la référence du french touch en musique électronique et continue à produire de nouveaux artistes à travers son label.
