Donatella Versace est venue à la soirée du Met Gala avec Anne Hathaway en portant une tenue qui rend hommage au travail de Karl Lagerfeld chez Chanel. Elle a joué avec la transparence en créant un lien visuel avec les chutes d’eau du défilé en optant pour de la duchesse de soie de luxe et de la tulle.
Une cascade étincelante de cristaux Swarovski, de pierres et de paillettes ornent la robe pour un effet “waouh”. Le motif dégradé se compose aussi d’un tweed carré, typique de la maison Chanel. Parmi les autres détails, on trouve des baleines de corset visibles et un col à fleurs d’organza faites à la main.
