Lorenzo Alexander – 1968 Mustang GT 390, $35K
Forget Teslas and hybrids, Lorenzo Alexander’s ride was pure Detroit steel, a 1968 Mustang “GT 390” dripping in cerulean blue. Back in 2005, before smartphones held the entire internet in your pocket, this pony car was a head-turner, a V8 symphony that could outrun dial-up speeds. Dual exhaust pipes peeked out like twin cannons, promising liberation from the monotony of four doors.
Sure, it cost him a cool $35K, enough for a sensible sedan and a Hawaiian luau, but Lorenzo craved the wind-whipped thrill, the leather-hugging G-forces as 320 horses pawed the asphalt. It was a time capsule in chrome and curves.
