Tom Buhrow und Sabine Stamer – Trennung nach 20 Jahren
Der Roman “Mein Amerika – Dein Amerika” erregte große Aufmerksamkeit. Über ein Jahrzehnt lang sammelten Tom Buhrow und Sabine Stamer diverse Fakten und Geschichten über das Leben und die politischen Verhältnisse in den USA. Die Entstehung des Buches fiel in die Zeit ihrer Ehe und stand wohl für intensive gemeinsame Arbeitsphasen.
Das Journalistenpaar gab sich 1993 das Ja-Wort und begrüßte im Laufe der Jahre zwei Töchter in ihrer Familie. Nach mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten Ehe führten ihre Wege ab 2016 getrennt weiter. Es wurden keine Details zu den Gründen ihrer Trennung preisgegeben, denn beide legten besonderen Wert auf Diskretion. Offenbar gelang es ihnen aber, sich freundschaftlich zu trennen.
