This Bear Had A Strange Job At A Hospital That Night

Hana’s heartbeat slowed as the bear’s growl softened into a low whimper. Its tense muscles began to relax. The air seemed to calm, almost as if the bear understood her intent. Hana realized that this was a moment of fragile peace. She took a small step forward, unsure what the bear might do.
To her surprise, it didn’t respond with aggression. Instead, it turned toward the little creature it had been guarding. The bear’s eyes softened as it gently nudged it closer to the wall. Hana, feeling an overwhelming need to act, whispered a silent promise to herself: If she couldn’t help this animal, she would find someone who could.
