The Well’s Dark Secrets
Hana and Peter moved slowly, cautiously, as the bear led them deeper into the woods. There was no turning back now. The bear’s quiet steps guided them to a large, ancient well. Hana’s breath caught. The cries echoed from deep within. Something was trapped. They peered into the dark well, the cries of the creatures growing louder.
She felt a chill run down her spine. The creatures were down there, and the bear had known all along. “We need to help them,” Peter said, his voice tight and urgent. Hana nodded. She was terrified, but she couldn’t walk away. They had to save whatever was down there.
