Anfangs wollte Sara ihren Freund einfach nicht zu stark bedrängen und sagte nichts weiter, wenn er von dem Thema abzulenken versuchte oder nur oberflächlich antwortete. Mit den Jahren fand sie aber seine ausweichenden und widerstrebenden Antworten jedoch immer komischer. Das einzige, was er ihr sagte, war, dass er mit seiner Vergangenheit abgeschlossen habe. Dass seine Familie für ihn nicht mehr existiert und nicht darüber reden wolle, weil es ihn sehr belasten würde. Während er jedoch die Vergangenheit ruhen lassen wollte, fing Sara an, sich diesbezüglich immer mehr Sorgen zu machen.
