Olivia Hussey – Born in 1951

Olivia Hussey’s entry into acting was early, marked by roles in “The Battle of the Villa Fiorita” and the 1965 “Cup Fever.” She became a global sensation at 17, starring as Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 “Romeo and Juliet.” The role earned her a Golden Globe and David di Donatello Award.

Despite declining roles alongside John Wayne, her career flourished with performances in “Black Christmas,” “Jesus of Nazareth,” and “Psycho IV: The Beginning.” In 2003, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of portraying Mother Teresa in “Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Olivia later reunited with her Romeo co-star Leonard Whiting, alongside her actress daughter India Eisley in the 2015 film “Social Suicide.”
