Jackie’s Anxiety Due to the Waitress’ Stare
Jackie sat nursing her baby, feeling increasingly self-conscious as the waitress hovered nearby, her visits more frequent than seemed necessary. Was it her breastfeeding that drew such attention? Typically, a waiter’s diligent care is appreciated, but in this mom’s situation, it only exacerbated her anxiety.
