Sidney Poitier’s Daughter – Sydney Tamiia Poitier
Daughter of the beloved veteran actor Sydney Poitier and Joanna Shimkus, Sydney Tamiia Poitier followed her father’s footsteps and joined the entertainment business. She attended the prestigious NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied acting. Fans have especially loved watching her in the television series ‘Joan of Arcadia.’
Poitier’s big break came when she starred in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘D**th Proof,’ and then in the ‘Knight Rider’ series as an FBI agent. Her acting talents and unique roles in the thriller genre have made her a cult favorite among viewers. Just like her father, Sydney too only gets better with age.
