Brittney Griner, a two-time gold medalist in the Olympics, has played for Phoenix Mercury throughout her career. She repeatedly displayed her astounding abilities from the moment she was drafted until she was detained in Russia in February 2022. Her rookie season was fantastic, and by her sophomore season, she had already established the record for the most blocks in a single WNBA game.
In addition to the earnings she made with Phoenix Mercury, Griner occasionally performed abroad for even bigger paychecks. She has made about $1.5 million playing in Russia in recent years. She now reportedly has a $5 million net worth, thanks to all of this.
