Cucumbers The Size Of Watermelons And A Cow Worth 450 Steaks—These Larger Than Life People And Creatures Will Leave You Awestruck!

Talk About A Big Cat

When people talk about big cats, you usually think about lions and tigers. But no one thinks a domesticated cat can be considered big. None of these people have ever met the Maine Coon. That is the cat in the picture, and they are known to grow up to 16 inches in height and 38 inches in length.

The males can weigh up to 18 pounds and, at one point, were regarded as the largest domesticated cat in the world. Although it was ousted by the hybrid Savannah cat, it is still the largest non-hybrid cat. The longest one of these was measured at 48.5 inches.

Such A Big Boy

Sometimes you just have to pose the question, is that baby big, or is that girl just very small. If it’s the former, then it poses the next viable question… how did this mother birth this big boy? Well, sometimes, the answer is more complicated than that.

The woman’s cervix and nether region are even known to conform to the for childbirth. However, in the case of the baby, the mother probably went the route of a cesarean section, i.e., a surgical procedure to remove the baby directly from the womb. This is viable if the baby weighs more than eight pounds.

The Legend Of Patrick The Wombat

Australia is filled with some pretty weird, wild, and sometimes scary animals. Some of them are also really furry and cuddly, like Wombats, who are furry marsupials that can grow up to 40 inches in length and weigh anything from 44 to 77 pounds. And every now and then, a special one like Patrick comes along.

He is the most famous and legendary wombat in history. Not only was he the largest and heaviest ever recorded, coming in at 88 pounds, but he was also one of the oldest ever recorded. At the time of his death in 2017, he was over 31 years old.

Now That’s Some Effective Security

Sometimes someone is just made to do a particular job. Like the guy in the picture, not the ones looking at the exhibit, but the security guy. He is huge, and would probably be equally at home in a WWE wrestling ring. Would you risk challenging this man by trying to steal something from this museum?

He may be big, but he isn’t the biggest ever. That honor lies with American Robert Wadlow, who is the tallest recorded man in the world. He measured in at 8 foot 11 inches and remains the tallest person ever recorded. The guy in this picture is pretty impressive though.
