Marlo Thomas captivated audiences as Ann Marie in “That Girl” from 1966 to 1971. The groundbreaking series showcased a single woman’s metropolitan life, a trailblazer for future female-led sitcoms. This role, along with her production contributions, positioned her as a pioneer in television.
Her work extended beyond acting into social activism and authorship, notably through creating “Free to Be… You and Me,” a project that challenged gender stereotypes.
